December Reveal Night - Label Tulip

Thanks to the postal service, I only have one day to work on my kit. I'm not the only one who has had problems with kits not arriving on time too, a few of the other TGs had the same luck.

That being said, I love December kits to bits!! Love, love love!! Month after month, Cindee and Cathy put together most amazing kits for us.

Yes, I have to keep reminding myself not to blabber too much, because of the photo overload. LOL. Here goes. . . !

Please pay no attention to that thumb. *grins* You can read the journaling, right? Green and orange flowers with brads on them, the shipping tag, red thread and buttons from my stash. I used some leftover scraps of paper from October kit too.

See that globs on the last photo? That is my most favoritest part. LOL. All stamped images were heat embossed with black, white and clear embossing powders. The layout is quite plain and quiet, because that is what I want my 2009 to be like. Calm, as calm as possible. As calm as my insanely erratic self can be. *grins*! Tiny red letter stickers from my stash.

Star of Her Eyes

This layout was inspired by one of Label Tulip's member, Rach H! Thanks Rach for letting us lift your layout :)

A layout of a very dear friend, Wati and her son, Adam. He's a cupcake, that boy. I still remember laughing at his antics until my tummy hurts. I miss you Adam! They're now (hopefully) safe and sound, enjoying the beach at Koh Samui!

I used the 'star' stamp we got earlier, alpha stickers and also a piece of Maya Road Sheer from last month. That rub-on as background of my title, I dig that. Totally.

As you can see, I can't get enough of the "Falling" stamp. *grins* And the card is so simple to make when you have a versatile, pretty stamp like that.

On the homefront, we're going for Nidhi's orientation day tomorrow. Yup, baby Girl is going to P1, that is Grade One for you people, I suppose? :) Whoaa.. my baby is going to school, real school?! That is freakin' me out, a little bit. *grins* She's gonna be okay, right? Tell me she's gonna be okay... LOL!

Some sort of a ramble. . .

First of all, I'm hungry. I'm in a permanent state of hunger right now, like this whole week. No, I'm not pregnant. Just hungry. Especially for salty things, (yogurt? sorry, no go) heck, I might as well have a bowl of salt near me wherever I go. Bad. Bad cravings.

Fontwerks is having a Warehouse Sale, I ordered a kit. Wanna get yours? Happy Shopping!

A card to share, I made this for Allison and Zach. Super simple, I am so not a cardmaker.. but the message inside, from my heart to theirs. The colors are a bit 'untraditional' but I never said I am, so that suits me.

A & Z

I'm angry. My kit is still not here and the postal service is so not helpful. Like why would I need to wait 30 days to get a reply on why a parcel that was delivered 'express' is still not here. The supposedly 'express' service was 3-5days for International. Here are some sneaks from Label Tulip of what is coming. . me likey!

I wanna do something about my hair. My super crazy hair. Still thinking though, thinking long and hard. I'll let you know if *anything* :) In the meantime, I'm sorry if I slap you across the face with my hair while reaching for that cardstock earlier at the LSS. *grins* I will try to remember to bring my hairclip next time.

Sally, I'm so glad I have a Survivor in you.. LOL! Now I wish Sugar could stop crying everytime she talks to someone. *grins*

And oh, does anyone know if we can download the whole set from Flickr at one time? You know, instead of one by one? Buzz me if you have an idea, will you? Pretty please?

I am slowly building my bookmarks, adding your blogs one by one as I come across them, so I may be late in visiting you, but I'll be there :)

Thank you, for making it this far. Love you all. I leave you with my new favorite photos of The Girls. Over-exposed, underexposed, a tad blurry, not perfect, of course, but surely, loved.

Pencil Lines #114 - Sandie Vincent

*grins* I'm resurfacing for Pencil Lines #114 :) Our Guest for this week is this amazingly sweet girl, Sandie Vincent. Awesomeness -----> that's her!

find your way

Journaling is written at the back, and no, not sharing it here coz it's kinda private. Who's that boy? He's my cousin, a few years younger than me. He's the brother I never had. :)

Closer. . .

close up 1

Stamp from Scarlet Lime. Love that little crumpled corner.

close up 2

Do I really need to say anything? LOL. Yummmm....

close up 3

Kraft Border Stickers from Hambly.

close up 4

MM Clip (will I ever get tired of them? urmm... hope not, because they're so stinkin' cute!). Some blings too.. I think all my layouts are with blings of some sort attached to them, right? :)

Do any of you watch Survivor anymore? Or am I too old fashioned? LOL. I love that show, and so glad to see Corinne go last week. Glad, too glad that I squealed! ha-ha-ha!! I have no favorites... I just didn't want Corinne to win. She is so like... meh.

I got my puter back, spanking new, fast and EMPTY! Lost some photos definitely but I'm telling myself, be happy, be grateful that I managed to back up almost 90% of them. So yes, trying not to think too much about it. Letting go :) or rather, learning to let go.

Last week was filled with friends and family and laughter and good food and about eight hundred photos to sort through and edit. Yup.. must arrange for meet up again with my non-judging breakfast and lunch club. ha-ha-ha-ha!!

Poppin' in...

The boutique is open! Run!! Yes, RUN!! Because as usual, this is not-really-breaking-news.. it has been open for a few days. Only I was too swamped with mommy-ing, getting their books ready for next year, outings to parks to tire out The Girls and what nots! See you Monday!!

Pencil Lines #113 - Ingvild Bolme

Whoa.. this place is dusty! *big grins* I've been gone a while eh? :) Wish I could tell you I was at this exotic beach/mountain/lake/jungle having the time of my life. Alas, that was not the case *grins* I'm here, at home. Living and loving, as usual.

A bit of scrappy talk...

Pencil Lines #113 is up! I missed last week's sketch.. life took over. Nuff said :) This week we're having the beautiful and talented Ingvild Bolme as our Guest DT. Can we say FUN??!! AYKM? Just take a look at her layout at Pencil Lines! So fun (I know I said that already), but yes, so fun to look at!! All the details are just mind-blowing, big time!! Go to her blog for a ton more close ups!

A Good Day

I feel like this layout is kinda different, kinda 'not me-ish', maybe it's the yellow pom-pom trim! LOL. oh.. love the red paint all around too. Paint always make me happy *grins*

close up 1

Believe me I tried my hardest to get them to line up and be good, but those pom-poms are too stubborn and in the end, I let them be, and I am so beginning to like the look! The MM Clip, I sliced the cardstock to slip it in. Those stamps from g-studio, they rock big time (only SGD2.90 for the set, what a bargain eh?!!! Got mine from Laine's :)). I am seeing them on lots of future layouts.

close up 2

MM die cuts, glittered chipboard. 'A Good Day' --> stamp from October Afternoon.

close up 3

Urmmm... just because I like the shot :) No special technique here. Yup, still no special technique.. but I love that little strip of scalloped paper from SassaFrass :)

It's the year end school holidays over here, 6 weeks! 6 weeks of madness LOL. First week, The Girls went up north with my mom and sisters. I thought I would take the time, the supposedly quiet and peaceful time, to play catch up, you know. Get as many assignments as I can done and done. Little did I know, the house would be too quiet for my liking it was almost ghostly. Spooky, that I have to have the radio switched on at all time. And I miss them so much it wasn't even funny.

Second week was much better.. much more balanced :) The 'noise makers' are back and I'm a mommy again. I also managed to somewhat get caught up. . .! Sweet eh :) Still have to pay all of you a visit.. I will soon! I miss reading your blogs..*sob* I also have several awards and tags to answer and pass along... that too, will be soon, soon soon :)

A few errands to run for the day then it's time for blog hop :) See ya!!

Label Tulip November :)

I promised I'll be back soon and here I am. A warning though, this post is loaded with photos, so if I unknowingly crashed your puter, I am deeply sorry. Speaking of puter, mine just died on me. Dead. Not blinking, not purring, dead. And along with it, all my bookmarks of your blogs!!Sweet eh? Urrrghhhhh!! I'll work my way around that I'm sure, so please bear with me if I'm a little late with my blog hopping. This puter I'm on is an old one of ours.

I hope someone 'up there' will take pity on me and save the batch of latest photos, at least. And the last few of digital elements not backed up yet. Pretty please, yes?

Time for layouts :)

Hidden Ocean
She held her grief behind her eyes like an ocean & when she leaned forward into the day it spilled onto the floor & she wiped at it quickly with her foot & pretended no one had seen.
