Craving for brownies. . .

*before you ask, no, I'm not pregnant :)* I wanted to order brownies at lunch just now, but changed my mind because urmm... I already had calamari and spiced chicken sticks. Yeah, you guessed it, I'm sorta regretting that decision now because I'm craving for some brownies and ice-cream, big time craving. *sigh*

Lesson learnt - next time, just order. That is just better than sitting here at home, wanting brownies and not wanting to go out to buy and not wanting to bake. Oookay!! Enough with my food craving.. !! LOL!

A layout to share. . .

not nothing

I must thank Peggy for inspiring me to snap those silly photos!

Two more days and we will be done with the mid year exams. Can someone dance with me? I'm in desperate need of some nap and creative time. *grins* Enough about me.. what have you been up to lately? Spill, girlfriends! :)

crazy love from me to you. .

I know just what you mean about the SAMH part, Sasha! Busy doesn't even cover it! Still - wouldn't trade it for anything- but, no naps and baths around here either. Maybe a little too much scrapping and not enough cleaning. ;)

Love what you did with the funny photos! And you will be seeing me borrow the idea for the crackle paint on the alphas for sure! Gorgeous! :)

Standing ovation for that layout of yours - love the look of it, and applauding the words you wrote. I can't agree with you more and I know you know that. :)
Thanks for dropping by my blog too - maybe I'll bump into you at a nearby supermarket or makan place then. hehehe.
I still have one more week to go before my kid's exams are over - I'm dying here. You go and take your much needed break, I'll join you later next week yah? :)

Fisrt off...NO ONE works a Hambly layout the way you do, you are awesome! As for the SAHM, I feel ya, people think you just hang out and not do much, I always tell people this is a 24 hour per day job and money wise I am underpaid but my kids pay me with their smiles and words, (still wishing I could get paid) LOL This past weekend was nothing but fun, I got a bunch of scrapbooking goodies for my birthday, Friday we spent the night with friends and family, (mom watched the girls) Saturday I spent the entire day (until 2 am) scraping with my dearest friends and Sunday, we celebrated mothers day and I had the joy of watching our 5 year give bouquets of flowers to all the moms in our family with the HUGEST smile (is that a word?) Anyhow I have said enough :D 1 more thing, I love those pictures.

Sasha, what an awesome lo! The crackle paint is so funky on those thickers!

I'm on mat leave so I know what it is being a SAHM but yes people don't get it. I often get comments that I have nothing else to do but veg around the house, hello!!!, taking care of a home and a 9 month old is not work? I wouldn't change it for anything in the world and I'm very sad at the thought that I will be going back to work later this summer.

First of all; Amazing layout my friend!!! Loved those silly pics!!!! Loved the journalling too, I get the same response from some people too...oohhhhh youre a sahm...so you don't work....and then I promptly say, no I work, I work very hard!!! Some people are just clueless.

I'd order brownies too and enjoyed every bite!!!

Have a great week!

Great layout! Its true, some people like to give you crap about being able to stay home! I don't have any kids yet and I don't work, but gosh darn...there is ALWAYS something that needs to be tended to! I run our household!! Yesterday I cleaned all day and then when I was about ready to finally sit down it was dinner time! While sometimes I feel like a bum for not working and feel like I have to explain myself to some people, my husband reminds me that he doesn't have to worry about a thing when he is out training or deployed! He knows I have everything covered and it makes his job easier to do as well!
And one last thing...isn't funny how when our husbands come home from a long day of work they can relax and put their feet up, while we've been working all day as well and we need to get dinner on the stove then clean up afterward! Hahaha!

So there was my rant! Lol!

And from one SAHM to another... amen, amen, amen... :-)

OMG! I love, love everything here! The adorable onsie overlay, omg, how adorable! The butterflies, the wrapped journaling on the side (which I going to borrow, BTW)! The pics are super adorable and I love the journaling. I work full time but when I was home with my newborn and 2 year old. I was busy and realized that getting out of the house sometimes can be valuable!

Girl I love this LO! The pics are priceless and since I have been a SAHM for 9 years now I can totally relate. People tend to ask me to babysit a lot because they think I am just home doing nothing. Very frustrating. Anyway, love the LO especially the letters. Great effect. Have a great week.

oh Sasha-
I am so happy for you that you are a stay at home mommy!!

Being a mom is 24/7 hard work whether you work outside the home or not! I've done both and one isn't better, easier than the other, just different.

All moms need a pat on the back I think...and some brownies and a nice hot bath and then a nap!

Sophia said...

Hey babe!
Wow! They really think SAHMs do nothing? Those are called tai-tais... not SAHM! LOL!
I mean, being a SAHM means work 24/7 with no leave and off days! And I salute you for that!

Love that layout! Love how it's so real and beautifully done with those Hamblys
