Partly Sunny with a chance of tantrums

We all know 'that' forecast, eh? :) Tantrums complete me. LOL. A day without tantrum from any of the kids, or even me seems incomplete for us right now. Yet, I cherish days like these, sulks, tears and all. Live for the now, that's what I tell myself.

The Partly Sunny Gallery went LIVE a couple of minutes ago. Here's what I have in mine.

adam

Adam, my friend. He'll be running 84km, double the distance of full marathon tomorrow, for a cause, a great cause. I hope to be there when he finish his 84km, together with Mr. Husband.

Large Monarch Butterfly punch, some twine and twisted burlap, which are going, going, gone from the shop so get them while you can! :)

The butterflies were stamped with Sunflower mist. You can also see Bracket Border punch. Yum. I have been reaching for that a lot lately.

The butterfly stamp, again. This time heat-embossed, then misted with Sunflower. And oh, just for the record, I adore those little metal flowers from Making Memories. Fun!

The fabulous fabulous Butterflies edge punch. *swoon* And my beloved Tiny Attacher in action.

Classic. Love. The journaling font, my favorite-est ever (if there is such a phrase) - Traveling Typewriter. It's free too! Get it here. While you're there you can download a buttload of other beautiful fonts as well. *grins*

n&n

A just because layout. Just because I wanna play with the cute stickers, just because I wanna scrap that photo of my girls about a million times over. *grins*

Yes, I went Mist crazy. On this layout alone, I have Sunflower, Cream and Fern Green. And through-out the gallery.. lots and lots of twine. I used black and brown precicion pens (u can't really see the difference in my photo) and drew some faux-stitches for my 'frame' and other prettiness.

As usual, shoot me with questions, if any. I'll be happy to answer them :) I'll see you soon with some Documentary goodness! :)

Sometimes you just need to hear it

Sometimes I just wanna be the one to tell you, that you're awesome. Thanks Susan for sharing, it's just super true.

iamawesome.com

Yes, my friend. It's true. Did it make you smile? I hope it does. :)

The color room has a new palette up! Have you seen it? I wasn't sure at first, because in my mind, I thought 'no, that's so not me!' but hell yes, this is one of my favorite layout as of now. We all know how fickle undecided I can get, but yes, for now, this is my favorite layout.

Leap Learn Love

My baby sister. The one I bully ask to make me coffee when she's around. LOL. The one who doesn't eat ice cream from Baskin-Robbins. She eats the ice cream cone/wafer though, so I usually get her that when we go for ice cream.

Lots of Anthology and bits and pieces from past Studio Calico kits. I really enjoyed using the Hambly Rub On, they are perfect for this page, I feel.

My favorite part gotta be the stamped frames. *sigh* I feel so clever after I did that. LOL. And the butterflies, I think no explanation needed there. *grins*

You will want to get your hands on the pink slipped stamps this month. I know I will need that Pinked Circle and Fence Alpha Border for sure. Actually, scratch that. If I can be sure that Mr. Husband is not gonna get a heart attack when he gets the credit card bill, I will want to buy the whole shop! LOL.

Something new and exciting coming our way. I can barely contain my giddyness when I saw this new line from Studio Calico. :) Like what you see? Watch this space.

*hugs*

In Denial

yes, my 10th Mother's Day and I'm in denial. How could I have been celebrating Mother's Day for 10 good years and there are still a lot more to learn about being one itself? If only children come with Instructions Manual, eh? If only. For now, I'm winging it. Love, logic and a little bit of crazy thrown in for good measure should do it.

Just so you know, I'm having a hard time stringing a sentence right now. The puter's CPU is making some kind of noise. Irritating is an understatement. It's making me cranky and I don't function very well when I'm cranky. I can't even take photos when I'm cranky. Silly. I need earplugs.

Best if I just show you the layouts, yes? Top three from my Granny's Cupboard gallery :)

27 yrs

This one looks better in real life, trust me. Those splatters and stamped image? It's actually silver. Yes, awesomely gorgeous Silver Plated Mist.

Yummy round binding edge punch.

This is not a layout about my age. I'm way past 27. :) It's about how long I took to get back to Sentosa Island here in Singapore. And I used the sticker with an image of a telephone on it because I had to call my mom to ask how old was I when I was last in Sentosa. LOL.

What took me so long? I have no idea. I have been staying in Singapore for at least eight years! :) Now that the spell has been broken, I bet you'll be seeing us there more often.

happy

I need to add some journaling on this one.

Storytime Alphabets. I think you already know how much I love that set.

You can see I used both of my monarch butterfly punch and the open scallop edge punch. I gotta feeling open scallop is gonna be a favorite amongst the favorite.

You can also see the photo close up. She was truely, without a shadow of doubt, happy at that moment. Makes me happy, that photo.

the good life

Went mist crazy on this one, and had fun stitching too!

Just a normal, average day for us. I love normal. I want them to remember the good ol' normal days. If you still remember, Neha was sick last month? She was home for 11 days and oh how I long for her to be healthy and back in school. That was when I did this layout.

Bits of patterned paper, some zig zag punch action, stitching, misting and stickers. Lovin' it!

Papi Love

Papi as in Daddy. Yes, too much Dora, and I want to record that. Who knows, one day she may stop calling him Papi and revert back to Daddy? :) Who knows?

The CPU is still driving me crazy, so I better stop doing whatever I'm doing on the puter and go to bed. Tomorrow, I'll be busy hopping from one blog to another to leave all of you some love. I love days like that.

*love*
