First of all, thank you for the comments on my last post. Some of you said you're impressed. Hell, I'm impressed. I never thought I would be able to. Sorry, I know that was kinda boasting. I apologize, but is still proud of myself. Now the hard part is continuing the training. LOL. * and now, I hang my head in shame as I have been a slacker. LOL. One whole week and I clocked less than 10k.* Not proud of myself. Gotta do more, do better. Thank you, for the support, really. *hugs*
I'm gonna share something yummy with you, um.. because you see, despite my sporadic blogging at best, I think about blogging every single day and when I think of blogging, I think of my lovely, sweet and encouraging blog readers. Usually while driving, and all that ideas will go *poof* out the window once I'm actually able to jot it down somewhere. LOL. My brain is fried and I have no idea who to blame!
Some mist splatter - I have
Seafoam Green,
Cream Metallic,
Lemon and
Sunflower there. Yes, all mushed up, the way I like it. You can also see a tiny peek of a pretty blue doily from
SweetVintage.
Just FYI - this layout will never be revealed here. Ever. All layouts are exclusive to
Sketchbook2.
And I'm gonna share something even yummier - A spot in
Kelly Purkey's latest online class, Sketchbook2. How's that for I love you? Even better than roses, not that I can send you some fresh ones anyway, and not that it would matter coming from me. LOL.
Kelly said : Sketchbook 2 is a four week class filled with fresh sketches, easy instructions, beautiful examples, and lots of fun. From August 2nd to August 27th a PDF will be delivered to your inbox every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so you can work at your own pace. By the end of the class, you'll have a complete sketchbook of 12 original sketches, 36 layouts, and an additional 36 sketches based on those creative pages. All the examples are brand new layouts, exclusive to this class... you won't see them anywhere else! The best part is that you will be receiving an example layout from me for each of the sketches, along with two example layouts from a member of the incredible Studio Calico design team. The class will also include a private message board for questions and sharing ideas, as well as two scheduled chats - all on the awesome Studio Calico website.
To be eligible for the giveaway, just leave a comment here. A Hi!, a Hey!, an I love you!, a Hello! - anything at all. Easy enough? Okay. :)
and oh, if you have already registered for the class, fraid not, you can be refunded or you can give your spot to a friend. So comment away, my inbox is ready. *grins*
Comment will remain open up until I choose a winner. Probably somewhere around July 28th. I'll close the comment section then. So as long as you're able to comment, you're in it. I promise.
Good luck!
