Right Now - February 24th

  • feeling : pain. in the butt. I cycled at the beach for slightly more than an hour today. Now my butt is hurting. I need to get me a padded underwear or at least tie a cushion to the bike seat next time. Ha!
  • drinking : 100PLUS. Isotonic. And lots and lots of chilled water. 31℃/88℉ over here.
  • wanting : sleep. yesterday I went to bed at 6:35pm * I must be out of my mind then*, I was so freakin' tired. 40 minutes later I jumped outta bed coz I suddenly remembered that I don't have a cleaning/ironing lady and I have to iron school uniforms. And ended up sleeping way later than usual because the nap screwed up my bedtime.
  • thinking : I'm gonna walk funny tomorrow. I always do after any time spent on the bike.
  • eating : oh we had fishball noodle soup at 4pm, I told my children we're having cereal for dinner. or toast. or milk and cookies. or whatever they can find in the fridge. you get the idea. anything as long as I don't have to cook and minimal dishes.
  • enjoying : the fact that I got 4 days of work out this week. they're small stuff - some briskwalk on the treadmill, some weight lifting, about 1km of running *pathetic, i think* and cycling and walking on the beach. I'm starting over after 7 months of inactivity - I wanna go slow this time. and i tell myself I'm not gonna register for any race.
  • listening : to my almost 10yr old singing her heart out in the shower.

  • I pat myself in the back after I completed this layout because it came out exactly as I imagined it. Exactly. I think that has never happened before. I usually stray from the plan, on purpose.
  • Still very much in love with the Valentine Flair Button. I just ordered more!
  • I like that this layout is simple and straightforward. We're that kind of people, Mr.Husband and I :)
  • Friday night over here. Have a great weekend y'all!
xoxo

This is so lovely! And girl, we can have sore bums together! I've been riding the stationary bike all week, and you'd think mine would get used to it! But, last night my hubby and I played Scrabble in the garage and I kept having to stand up from the hard chairs that are in there - my a** really hurt!! You'd think they'd somehow make those things more comfortable, right?? It sounds like you are doing great on the activity!!! Good for you!!!

My LSS just started carrying Chic Tags, they are incredibly cute, and you do great stuff with them. I love that sweet little heart. Seeing your hand stitching always, always makes me want to pull out my needle and thread and create. Still in love with you, and your style my girl. Thanks for popping by my blog last week, it warmed my heart to see your lovely face again :) Oh, and I thought it was funny that your blog title is 'right now' as I just posted a layout with the same title on Friday. Mine is all about my random faves at the moment. Cheers for now.

Awesome of you to revamp your commitment to fitness! I'm right there with you! Just started working out after an entire lifetime of being completely lazy, and it's hard work, but so worth it, don't you think?
