Lucky them

  • Sometimes, I need to say that out loud. You know, just a conversation Breaking News. LOL. Nidhi just came in the room and out of the blue, asked me - Can we have a hamster? *WHAT? Where did that come from? She was supposed to be in bed! *The answer is obviously no! Ha! She already knows that and she is still trying to change my mind. My girls, in fact, have been trying to change my mind for the last 7 years maybe. Sorry kids. Not happening.
  • Okay, back to us. Sometimes, I need to say that out loud. You know, just a conversation with myself. I do that a lot - I talk to myself on a daily basis. At least I listen, right? I tell myself that they're lucky. My family is lucky to have me.
  • I'm almost ALWAYS here for them. Sam doesn't even remember his house keys 98% of the time. And I'm almost always at home waiting to unlock the door for him. Oh yes, I roll my eyes, especially when I'm already in bed but I'm there aren't I?
  • I love cutesy stationeries, so my girls are lucky in that area. I willingly bring them to the mall to let them browse and sometime reward them with a little thing or two - even when I actually hate malls. I hate crowded area.
  • The girls are lucky I stay home. I send freshly grilled chicken wings and drumsticks for their class parties. Not store bought limp looking cookies.
  • Sam's lucky I'm willing to wake up at ungodly hours to go and support him in races. Yes, I wake up grumpily, but I wake up!
  • Sam's also lucky because I'm not into branded stuff. Really. I see people spending crazy amount of money on a purse and I cringe. They might have cringed at the price of my camera as well, but I'm still with my Nikon D90 I bought years ago and to each their own.
  • They're lucky I keep my house in fairly in order. I sort and throw away their junks very so often. Yes, they're still a few mountains of unfolded clean laundry on the sofa and dishes in the sink, but everything else is pretty good. Just ignore the dust. If it's up to them - we will all be sleeping on piles of rubbish. Ha! I'm the throw-awayer in this house.
  • Some days, I must admit, I feel like not doing anything at all. So they could see what I have been doing all these while. LOL!
  • I'm rambling randomly and I know it. Sorry. LOL. A layout to share today . . .

    • I believe in love at first sight. I believe in happy endings. Sam was love at first sight. Truly. I didn't know who or what he was, but I already love him. ♥ And I believe everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay - it's not the end. :)

    • If there is a cure to stop me from watching too much of the said shows - I don't want to know. I love love love police-criminal-medical drama. LOVE.
    • On the topic of window seat - yeah, don't even go there. I'm getting that window seat no matter what. Especially if we're travelling on a sunset/sunrise flight. On that - my family is lucky I only fight the window seat from them. I stay pretty nice to other passengers. :)
    • And oh - to my children, you can definitely have a hamster or ten. When you're living on your own, away from me. For now, I'd like to spend my free time making pretty things with paper and glue, taking pictures and feeding them to my Instagram and playing games on facebook. Not cleaning hamster poop.
    • I shall end this post before I embarrass myself further? Yes? :) I'll see you soon!
