Women to Women. Mothers to Mothers.

Someone said this to me :
NOBODY is harder on women than other women. NOBODY is harder on mothers than other mothers.

Me : Why? Aren't we supposed to support our own? Nourish? Encourage each other ? Share and inspire other women? What's this I'm better than you because I breastfeed/stay at home/go to work/make my own baby food/pack organic lunches/never let the kids eat McDonalds/wear my baby like a sling bag/co-sleep bitch fight? Why?

Women. I don't get you.
sincerely,
Sasha

Oh Sasha, sending you big big BIG **hugs** I have been there so many times. I don't know, maybe I expect more from other woman and thus get let down? Who knows. It is so hard, but I know you are one of the good ones. Thank you for being REAL.

That would make this world of ours a little bit of heaven on earth.

Oh I can so relate to this. I am on the receiving end of more than a little grief from my family especially about not working. I would love everyone to just try and keep it a little more positive. Nobody can understand exactly what anyone else is going through. A good dose of the benefit of the doubt would go a long way!

Hallelujah someone else who thinks the same?! I have never understood this & even less since becoming a mum. We all know how hard it is!! Why oh why compare, criticise, compete?! Wish I had an answer??!!....find different friends?! I did this 5 years ago & haven't looked back. Hard & guilt ridden but much better now!! Xoxoxo

Sasha, moms can be very critical of one another. Sad, but true...and just to let you know-Gasp: we don't eat all organic food, my kids had McDonalds the other day, I used a bjourn and not a sling for my babies, and I stay-home, but would love to work some days, also I did not co-sleep, but my kids both sleep just fine as independent 9 and 12 year olds. Also, I admit that being a mom is super hard for me some days.

You are a great mom lady, keep your head up!

I don't know why women are like that. But you are perfect just as you are and don't let anyone tell you any different!

My thoughts EXACTLY! Especially with a particular sister-in-law. Some people just have superiority issues I suppose.
You are one of a kind dear Sasha!! xx

I completely agree!! I often get told by working moms that I have too much time on my hands when I mention that I scrap. By other stay at home moms I get crap if I don't volunteer "enough" at school. WHAT is WRONG with PEOPLE??? We SHOULD be supported no matter what!!

Sasha, totally agree.. that also include mother-in-law, sisters, cousins, every other women. that's why i don't understand why there are women out there who abuse their own daughter, or force them into doing things that is illegal.
