- September kits are LIVE! Go grab some Double Scoop goodness for your crafting delight next month! (on a sidenote, September kits, already? *sigh*)
- I got myself the scrapbook kit, card kit, Project Life kit, Sprinkles and Waffle Cone. And of course some 12 x 12 Studio Calico grid papers. All the layouts, with the exception of the EST 1999 was made by mixing all the kits. This is just the way I scrap :)
I have had visions of this layout in my head for the longest time. Glad I got it out this time. The woodgrain star sequins made it very easy - I'm so in love with them!
The stitching took the longest, once that's done.. the page came together very easily. I adore the thin thickers - their color is perfect - not too bold, but didn't fade to the background as well.
After so many years, a square layout from me. I feel like 12x12 is too big for me nowadays so I went 8x8 and loving it! :)
Due to the size, I was also able to make the grey constellation paper from the card kit the 'focus' of my layout. I cut the cork frame and use it as an accent - I hesitated at first because it's just so beautiful on it's own but glad I went ahead :)
One of my favorite photo of all time, taken at iCity, Shah Alam when I was there with my mom and daughters last June - had to enlarge it.
Backed the instagram veneer with patterned paper and stamped the heart on a scrap piece of grid paper. The rest of the layout came together by itself, well, almost. I love the washi tape in the main SB kit!
*sigh*
I can't get enough of this photo of my girls. Look at them - I wish I can turn back time and keep them this way. It was a sunday, many years ago - a perfect one.
I traced and cut 'SUNDAY' using cameo (from the digital stamp). Using the same set of digital stamp, I stamped 'perfect' (in white) onto a blank 8.5x11 canvas, positioning it where I want it to be on the layout. Added stroke layer style, lowered the opacity to 20% and printed that out on a piece of watercolor paper.
I pierced 'perfect' then used the water brush to apply watercolor on it. Waited for it to dry, then handstitched the whole word with grey thread. (DMC 926)

Played with watercolor again on this layout. I decided on yellow and green to contrast with the little bit of aqua in the photos.
Wondermilk is our current craze, if you must know. Too bad the nearest outlet is about 4-5 hours away. LOL.
Super love the wood veneers (how cute is the sun!) but my favorite part must be the torn washi tapes and stitching on the watercolored area :)
This is another layout that has been in my mind for the longest time. *sigh* Poor ellies. I say 'I'm sorry' every time I see the photos from this day.
I cut the word 'grateful' from one of the cork frames and kept this page very minimal. I took some 'raindrops' from the wood veneer pack and decided they will symbolize 'tears' beside the title. Then I added some stitching, a label and some mist splatters. I thought it needed nothing else. I just wanted to write my feelings down.
Our latest photo together! :)
I used PL cards on this layout - 5 of them, cut into different sizes. I didn't measure anything though.
I handstitched a yellow outline on the ampersand and thought it looked amazing! The word 'hope' was cut with cameo and colored with a pink gelato.
This layout was inspired by one of the card in the PL kit that says - Truly perfect. To be frank, I wanted to use it at first, then i accidentally dumped half a cup of watercolor water on it. *sigh* But I think I love this even more - I printed the words 'truly perfect' in the same fashion it appeared on the PL card on the gold label and build the page from there. I love how the flowers I cut out of the DL paper matches the photos! :)
