You Are Loved

  • not you, smog.
  • If you haven't already heard me complaining on the SC board, or on Instagram - well, we're miserable over here. MISERABLE. Lemme just show you a couple of photos :

  • And the photos above was taken on a better day than today. *sigh* We need to organize a rain dance. Our latest *3hr average* PSI reading is 367. I bet you it's actually higher than that. :(
  • Alright, let's talk about something more pleasant, eh? Like this :
First time meeting each other!!! Lol!!
  • Their first time meeting each other. Sam is a big ol softie, really. :D He adores babies! I love the look on on their faces and so glad I captured that with my phone :)

  • One Crate paper layout for the Creative Weekly
  • Dots, circles, polkas, they all have something in common which is being loved by me :) I can't get enough of them in my daily life, as well as on my layouts. Add hand-stitching to that, and I'm in heaven!
  • In this layout, I combined brads from multiple Crate Paper collections with the adorable "Popcorn" patterned paper from The Pier. Notice the polka-dots on that particular paper? Double bonus! Circles on circles is my absolute favorite. I stitched circles to 'house' the brads I planned on putting onto the layout. If you ask me what is my favorite embellishment, while I may have a hard time answering you and will have more than one answer, brads will most definitely be on the list!

& 123 Smile

  • How do you know it's school holiday around here? Well, for starters, I have Monster High and Zack and Cody on my 'Recommended For You' list on Youtube. LOL.
  • And zoo trips. One down, more to come I'm sure. My girls can stay at the Fragile Forest and Frozen Tundra for a long long long time if I let them!
  • Sharing one layout with you this beautiful Monday evening.

  • I mixed Studio Calico Atlantic with Yearbook for this one. Loving the outcome. Kinda addicted to the vellum in Atlantic these days, I had one piece and already used it up on several layouts. now I'm out - already got 2 more pieces! Kinda a big deal for me because I rarely have multiple pieces of (the same pattern) vellum!
  • Been on a layering kick lately. I just adore them peeking out like that. *sigh* Makes my heart happy.
  • Another favorite these days = SC Grid paper. I feel like I cannot scrap without them! ha! (or have I mentioned that already in the previous blog posts? LOL)

You + Me = Love

  • Notice anything different around here? :) I'm so in love with the new clean look of my blog. Thank you Carrie for helping me get my blog just right.
  • I've been meaning to post this layout I created for Mei Li Paperie's Color Challenge. If you're into challenges, and especially if you're in Asia, do check them out!

  • Introducing, my niece, Afrina Zahra. I think you will be seeing and knowing her as well as you know my girls in time to come. Photo taken when she was 4 days old, and she has changed so much since then. Babies, eh!
  • Lots and lots of Crate Paper here. Lots of layering, lots of splattering of Mister Huey, lots of love.  I used my Color Mist Droppers, stood up above my misting box, made sure the fan was switched off and squeezed the dropper to get big splatters (blue and yellow) like you can see on the layout.
  • Fourteen, Sleigh Ride, Little Boy Blue, Little Bo Peep, The Pier and more on this layout and they all work together beautifully. :)

Blog~hop - Projects That WOW

'Projects that WOW!’ is about making your projects stand out from the crowd. What makes you pause and look closer at a scrapbook page when you are flicking through your own albums, or looking at other people’s layouts in magazines? Which cards jump out at you from Pinterest or from envelopes when you open them? What details of paper-crafted home décor or jewellery make you stop and say ‘wow!’? It’s time to learn some of these techniques or styles and put them to use!

'This blog hop includes a giveaway for three class places (worth £10 each). To enter you just need to comment anywhere on the ‘Projects that WOW!’ blog hop by 11.59pm BST* Thursday 6th June. Each comment on each blog in the hop counts as an extra entry into the draw. The winners will be announced at Jennifer Grace Creates on Friday 7th June. If you’ve already purchased a class place and then you win, the class price will be refunded to you. So don’t wait to sign up! Go HERE to buy a place now!'

Jennifer invited me to contribute a layout to her class. Here's a sneak for you :)

100%. I'm all yours.

  • Have you watched Fast and Furious 6? I have been having a slight girl crush on Michelle Rodriguez for so long - so I always like watching her. Nothing like my 'I want to kiss your face off and stare at your blue eyes until they bleed' crush on Zac Efron, though. Haha!
  • Had to talk to the branch manager about some stinky feet odor coming from the row behind us, after which she came in to spritz air freshener to our section. And when that didn't help, I had to lather medicated oil onto my nose to ward off the smell (my sensitive sense of smell - a blessing and a curse I tell you - everybody else was fine!! Or they secretly love stinky feet. Yucks!).
  • Love the super long and illogical runway - somebody calculated the length of the runway here, if you're interested. LOL. Movies are almost always illogical, so that doesn't bother me too much. If I want logic I will stay home and watch NatGeo Wild. Maybe.

  • I have a step by step for this layout posted on Crate Paper blog earlier this week. Check it out when you have a couple of free minutes. :)
  • Probably one of my 'cleaner' layout, love it all the same. The handstitching, the colors of Crate Paper, that photo with my girls (which is probably gonna be scrapped again and again ) = happiness. Such simple joy, if it makes you happy, do it. :)
#notaskingmuch  4:21am. Singapore.
  • #notaskingmuch . posted this (↑) because I can't resist and took a bite of the Lemon Honey Thyme Crème Brûlée cupcake in the fridge. At 4am, after completing one layout and before falling into bed. Ha! Bad Sasha.
  • I'm also up at Mei Li Paperie's blog today. Just a simple introduction but if you wanna look at a couple of my favorite Crate Paper layouts, hop on over to Mei Li Paperie! I'll be there the whole month of June, there will be come challenges coming up! Watch that space :)
Happy weekend, friends!
